  • Ahmed Halima
    Hydrogen & Fuels Lead ANZ – Principal Engineer, Mott MacDonald

    Ahmed is a leader in energy and industry decarbonisation and dedicated to influencing the development of infrastructure and energy projects that deliver positive environmental and social outcomes. Heading up Hydrogen & Fuels at Mott MacDonald in ANZ, he implements multidisciplinary chemical and electrolyser plant engineering, commercial, strategy and business in decarbonising energy in industrial, transport and primary sectors towards economies of scale.

    As Principal Engineer, he is managing the technical development, front end engineering and design, feasibility projects for hydrogen electrolyser and future fuels production plants, and brings insights from consulting, infrastructure development, R&D, chemical engineering, and scientific career for the design of multimodal hubs and integrated energy projects.

    He gained his PhD in design and scale-up of electrochemical hydrogen and synthetic fuels systems, and productively leads teams in the development of solutions to enable the nexus of sustainable and resilient industries, scale-up and readiness across energy, transport, industrial and primary sectors.

  • Christian Lange
    Chief Executive Officer, Armour Energy

    Experienced executive within both the Australian and International resources industries, having spent over 25 years in executive and operational roles globally.

    He has held an executive position for 17 years with global oil and gas services company Schlumberger, engaged in operations management throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Venezuela and the USA. Prior to establishing Condor Energy, Christian served for 5 years as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of an ASX listed global subsea services’ company, and was a finalist of The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program.

    Christian was Founder, and served 8 years as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Condor Energy Services, and was Chairman of Engage Marine | Westug Pty Ltd from 2012 through to December 2018.Experienced executive within both the Australian and International resources industries, having spent over 25 years in executive and operational roles globally.   • Keith Orchison
    Director , Coolibah

    Keith’s career began as a journalist in South Africa over 60 years ago. He migrated to Australia in the 1970’s and began an engagement with the energy sector that has lasted ever since, ending as the long-running MD of the Electricity Supply Association. Keith’s website, Coolibah (www.coolibahconsulting.com.au) with its "This is Power" blog is a fixture of the industry.

    In 2004, Keith was made a Member of the Order of Australia. He has a long association with both “Australian Domestic Gas Outlook" and "Australian Energy Week’.

  • Bronwyn See
    Director, Australian Gas Industry Trust

    Session: PANEL DISCUSSION: How does the gas sector build effective and diverse leadership?

    Bronwyn is an internationally recognised business developer who converts partnerships into market leading opportunities. With over 20 years’ experience in the energy industry, she has commercialised numerous innovative industry projects in Australia and within the Asian region. 

    She was recently a finalist in the 2022 Global Gas Awards for her work on renewable energy to renewable gas. Bronwyn has originated several green hydrogen and ammonia projects in Australia and has been responsible for forming consortiums involving leading Australian businesses and international energy players. She currently works as a business development executive at a leading Australian energy retailer.

    Passionate about the energy transition and access to opportunities for all communities, Bronwyn is an awarded conference speaker on topics relating to energy transition within the Asian region. She regularly briefs international delegations visiting Australia to upskill on energy transition.  Bronwyn has been appointed to a number of industry consultation committees, acts as a contributor at the Grattan Institute and a Fellow at the University of Melbourne focusing on energy transition and the green economy.
